ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

I can offer advice, concept / inital design, space planning + overall design services. I offer a considered holistic approach from overall design, practical buildable details, right through to the small important details ("wheres the mop going to go??!"). Or maybe you are tired of bills or fossil fuel reliance and you want to plan an energy focused home upgrade, Through continuous professional development that include energy focused methodologies, and as a qualified BER Assessor (ber.woodcock.ie), I can offer solutions to all minor and major energy upgrades.
PLANNING
Having extensive experiance with many different County Councils throughout Ireland and the UK, I can produce all drawings and documents and submit Planning Applications for all manor of buildings, extensions & alterations/renovations when needed.
TENDER + CONSTRUCTION
I can work up a full and comprehensive Tender/Construction drawing pack, suitable for pricing and construction. I can liase with any required civil/structural engineers and sub-contractors etc to encorporate theyre designs within one set of drawings.

After studying Architectural Technology at Dublin Institute of Technology I went straight to work at B+R Architect's, London. Here I gained a vast level of experience and knowledge and was lucky to work on diverse projects and with amazing peers, directors and clients. I have 20 years experience in the design and construction industry which has allowed me to craft and refine my love of creative thinking and functional detailing.
I am now based in Kilkenny, offering my architectural & design services in all aspects from inital design concept right through to completion. I have experiance in both urban and rural environments. I have worked on city center projects right through to country restoration jobs. I have equal enthusiasm for the new and the old.
I love working with clients and pride myself in creating the best possible design, bespoke to each client, within budget, and with mindful consideration to aspect, natural light + lighting, materials, surroundings…….and most important….. how the client wants to live and feel.
